Welcome to Davis College -Mallow
Davis College has a proud tradition of providing a quality education for the young people of Mallow and the wider community which extends over several decades. The College has constantly striven to enable all those entrusted to its care to fulfill their potential in a stimulating and supportive environment, where excellence in teaching and learning is a carefully fostered objective.
Our primary focus here in the College is on the academic attainment of students. We have a highly qualified, skilled and dedicated staff who are intent on ensuring students reach their potential. These teachers use the most up to date teaching strategies and techniques, have high expectations of their students and work tirelessly for the good of the school community. The quality education students receive in Davis College is delivered in firm, fair and caring manner in a well structured environment.
We are also acutely aware that academic attainment is only one aspect of a students development. It would be remiss of us not to address the social, emotional, physical, moral, spiritual needs of students. Hence we offer a broad and varied range of extra and co-curricular activities aimed at giving students every opportunity to develop in a holistic way so they enter society as well rounded and capable individuals.
This year, the college stands on the cusp of a bright new era. Due to increasing enrollment figures we have been granted €9 million extension which is due to begin construction in the summer of 2017. This new building will see the current campus grow to more than double its current size giving much needed space and specialist rooms.
Davis College has a fantastic tradition of education and I invite you and your children to be part of that tradition. I have no doubt they will thrive in what is an excellent educational environment and will go on to be outstanding citizens as a result of the educational experience they receive here with us.
